Can I use SoundScape assets in a commercial Unity project?
Yes. With an active Pro subscription (starting at $24.99/month), you receive unrestricted commercial usage rights for all 14,000+ WAV and OGG files. Starter users may only use assets for non-commercial prototypes and portfolio projects. Explicit credit to SoundScape in your game's credits is not required but appreciated.
Do I need to credit individual composers or sound designers?
No. All library files are fully licensed and royalty-free. You are not required to list credits for individual tracks like "Ambient_Forest_Loop_04.wav" or "UI_Click_Glass_02.ogg". If you wish, you may include "Sound Design by SoundScape Library" in your end credits.

Which audio formats and sample rates does the library support?
All assets are delivered primarily as 24-bit/48kHz WAV files. For WebGL and mobile deployments, we provide automatically compressed OGG Vorbis (128kbps) and AAC files. The SoundScape Import Plugin for Unity and Godot automatically converts these into your engine's default pipeline settings during project integration.
How do I prevent audio stuttering when playing many SFX simultaneously?
Use the built-in "Voice Limiter" in the SoundScape Manager. Set the Max Voice Count to 32 for mobile or 64 for desktop builds. Enable "Streaming Mode" for long ambient loops and restrict "Decompress on Load" to critical UI sounds under 2 seconds. This reduces RAM consumption by up to 40%.

Do you accept invoices for companies or VAT taxpayers?
Yes. Business and Enterprise subscriptions can be billed monthly via invoice. Enter your VAT ID and company address in the Dashboard under "Billing & Invoices". Invoices are automatically emailed on the 1st of each month in PDF format, containing all required tax details.
Are there discounts for students or game jam teams?
Students receive a permanent 50% discount on the Pro subscription after verifying their .edu email address. For game jams (e.g., GMTK, Ludum Dare), activate temporary "Jam Licenses" through our partner portal. These are valid for 14 days and grant full commercial usage rights during the event.

Can I upload my own remixes or edited loops?
Edited versions of library assets may only be shared in private workspaces. The public "Community Showcase" only allows fully original compositions. Remixes must be licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0 and cannot be labeled as "SoundScape Official". Violations result in a temporary suspension of upload privileges.
