Getting Started with SoundScape

Premium Sound Design for Indie Developers

01 / Account Setup

Create Your Developer Profile

Secure your workspace in under two minutes. SoundScape ties every license to a verified studio or solo developer account.

Navigate to the registration portal and enter your primary studio email. You’ll receive a verification token via Resend within 60 seconds. During onboarding, specify your primary engine (Unity, Godot, or Unreal Engine) and select your license tier. Solo creators typically choose the Indie Standard plan, which covers up to 50,000 monthly active users. Enterprise studios should contact sales@soundscape.audio for volume pricing. Your dashboard will automatically generate a unique API key for asset synchronization.

02 / Browser Setup

Configure Your Workspace

Optimize your browser environment for seamless waveform preview and metadata filtering.

SoundScape’s web client requires WebAudio API support and runs optimally on Chromium-based browsers. Enable hardware acceleration in your settings to prevent playback stutters during high-density library scans. Install the official SoundScape Extension to unlock direct drag-and-drop integration into your IDE. The extension automatically maps file paths to your project’s `Assets/Audio` directory and syncs metadata tags like BPM, key signature, and sample rate. Clear your cache once after installation to ensure the latest UI components load correctly.

03 / First Download

Export Your First Asset Pack

Retrieve production-ready audio files with a single click.

Navigate to the Library tab and apply filters for your target format. We recommend starting with the `Sci-Fi UI Pack v2.4` or `Medieval Combat Foley` collection. Select individual stems or entire categories, then click the batch export button. Files are delivered as 24-bit WAVs with embedded RIFF metadata. Your download history logs every transaction for audit purposes.

Commercial Deployment

All assets under the Indie Standard license are cleared for commercial release on Steam, itch.io, and console storefronts. Revenue caps apply only to the Free tier.

Attribution Requirements

Credit "SoundScape Library" in your game's main menu or credits roll. Link to soundscape.audio when feasible. Omission results in automatic license suspension.

Multi-Project Scaling

One license covers unlimited projects under your registered studio name. Add collaborators through the team dashboard to share access without duplicating costs.
