See the Search in Action
Watch how a single query narrows down 24,000 sounds to your exact match in under three seconds.
Type a keyword like "footstep," apply a mood tag such as "tense," set a length cap of 1.2 seconds, and filter for high-frequency emphasis. Results update instantly — no page reloads, no batch downloads. Every filter combination is saved as a reusable preset you can share with your audio team.
Try the Live DemoThree Dimensions of Precision
Every sound in the library is tagged across three axes: mood, duration, and frequency profile. Combine them to find exactly what you need.
Stimmung (Mood)
Choose from 42 curated mood tags — from "euphoric" and "playful" to "menacing" and "melancholic." Each tag is assigned by our audio team, never auto-generated. Search "eerie + ambient" to find drones that unsettle without overwhelming your mix.
Länge (Duration)
Set exact ranges in milliseconds. Need a UI click under 80 ms? A whoosh between 400 ms and 900 ms? The duration slider snaps to real playback values so you never waste build space with sounds that are too long for your scene.
Frequenz (Frequency)
Filter by dominant frequency bands: sub-bass (20–60 Hz), low-mid (200–500 Hz), presence (2–5 kHz), or air (10–16 kHz). Perfect for matching sounds to your existing mix — or sidestepping frequencies that clash with your dialogue track.
SoundScape vs. Traditional Sound Libraries
Most libraries offer keyword search and folder browsing. SoundScape gives you a three-axis filter system built for real production workflows.
Keyword-Only Libraries
Search "explosion" and get 847 results ranging from 0.3 s firecrackers to 8 s cinematic booms. You still have to preview each one to verify length, mood, and spectral content. In our beta tests, developers averaged 14 minutes to find a production-ready sound.
SoundScape Smart Search
Search "explosion," set mood to "cinematic," cap length at 2.5 s, and exclude sub-bass dominance. Results: 14 sounds. First preview matches your scene. Average time to find the right sound: 45 seconds.
Workflow benchmarks measured across 200 indie developers during our 2024 beta show an average 82 percent reduction in sound-sourcing time — roughly 6.5 hours saved per shipped project. Save your presets, share them via link, and let your whole team filter the same way.
